FB mastercylider on an S4

Does anyone know if the FB brake master cylinder will work on an s4? I'm getting a parts car to swap stuff into my FB and my FC needs a master. Just trying to save some time and money.

i think you are better off buying a new s4 master cylinder...its not worth the time trying to make your used fb one work just to replace it again down the line. just my $0.02. it's not like they are expensive

Answer for both Clutch and Brake Master, absolutely not.

Clutch Master - Mounting studs alignment is different.

Brake Master - S4 only has 3 Hydraulic mounting points and even then their alighment is totally different than for an FB. Further, an FB master has 4 Hydraulic mounting points.

A qualified maybe.
Depends on the version of FB- rear drum or disk?- and what kind of FC you have ,Turbo or NA.

Reconfiguring the brake lines is usually not a big deal (or just make new ones from generic line), nor is plugging an unused port but in either case, it's probably more work than it's worth unless the MC is an upgrade over what you currently have.
Junkyards are full of master cylinders (and boosters, for that matter) that are better than stock.

That's what I was looking for. I'll just buy a new one.
