Favorite 2nd Gen Magazines

We are getting ready to start calling on car mags about covering/promoting the event....

So, I am looking for a list of the car mags everyone here reads since I thought a targeted list would work better than me doing google searches.

So, please list them here. If you know the website address, throw that out as well!

Thanks much,

Hmm... I tried emailing them off their site to try and find out how we could get a little love from them but never received a response.

I guess I'll try and be a bit more "out-going" and try again.

Thanks!

Fast Fours And Rotaries Mag, where else are you guaranteed to read about rotaries every month. The other mags are kinda hit and miss.

That may be true, but Fast Fours is an australian mag. Not sure if they have an freelancers or reps here in the US to cover the event.

Fast fours has covered many USA events like Battle of the Imports, Sema Show, Nopi ect. I think they even had coverage of one of the Hot Import Nights. Don't know if they have anyone here or they send them over each time. I was hoping they would show up for sevenstock but I guess they didn't get the word.

Ok...I'm still stickin w/ the good 'ol publications as opposed to online mags. SO, I get every sport compact car (my favorite to read, though not many RX-7's...they have an FD project, and had an FB...wheres the FC???), super street started off terribly but over the past year or two they changed around and I started buying most of them...the features on those Japanese circuit cars are fun to read. Then I make sure to get Option 2 every so often (just bc you can't read Japanese doesn't mean all those pics and products aren't fun). The absolute king is RX-7 magazine...another japanese mag, but hey...it's dedicated to 7's

I'm not sure how or if you can contact RX-7 Magazine of Japan...but I own a few issues and they HAVE covered US events in the past.

"Sledgehammer" on this forum has actually been profiled in the magazine. A few other guys like Oshima (Inifini) have been in there as well. Very cool magazine...

Can you check your mag? Probably on one of the first few pages it'll list how to send in press releases. An email address or website would be the best.

Thanks!

I'm not sure if Furukawa Norio will be attending, but he might be able to publish some photos & stories in rx-7 magazine. E-mail him - furuchin@mac.com or staff@plante1986.com

Strange, he just gave me a buisness card a few months ago. I might find an alternate e-mail address in the actual magazine's editor credits tonight.

Without a doubt, RX-7 Magazine from Japan is the king of all RX-7 mags. Also known as HyperRev. I try to get this magazine as often as possible. IPN sells the magazine stateside. www.ipnindustries.com

Top Gear (http://www.topgear.com) has informed us that they will be adding a link on their News Briefs section next week!
