Wink fan shroud question

hi guys i wanted to know if getting rid of the fan shroud on a stock radiator is ok to do, its falling apart and just wanted to know thanks i have a 88 vert na

The shroud helps direct air to the appropriate areas. Without it cooling would not be as efficient. Check the Classified section, and get a replacement dirt cheap.

Or you could remove the shroud and clutch fan, and install a electronic fan, although those are commonly less efficient.

Junk yard e fans aren't too bad i'd suggest makeing your own sheet metal shroud for the e fan you need something to direct the air through the rad.
