whats this mean?

it's part of code 12 - Tps

Yeh i also want to know what that means. What is a TPS, i have these 2 red LEDs connected to one of the green leads next to my front ingintion coil, i dont know if its T or L but i was told it had something to do with TPS?? WHat is that??

The TPS is the throttle position sensor.

But anyone know what failsafe 100% throttle means?

i think it means that in case the TPS fails, it is assumed that throttle is opened 100%, so car runs extremely rich

ok. i am running code 12. No wonder my car runs so rich, and my car feels sluggish.

Gonna install the new Tps tommorow =)

Those LED's are the test light used to calbrate the TPS (throttle position sensor)

I have a copy of the factory service manuals on-line.
The link is in my sig below.
Look in the fuel & emissions section for the TPS adjusting procedure.

Throttle position has nothing to do with the amount of fuel injected, so a 100% throttle reading will not make the engine run "extremely rich".

Code 12 is for the the full-range TPS, which controls how much oil the OMP injects. It's failsafe setting is 100% because too much oil injection is nowhere near as damaging as not enough...
