Faded rear finish panel - 89

Maybe this should go in the exterior forum but I put it here since I think it's more 2nd gen specific.

Anyhow, the rear finish panel (I think that's the name of it) on my vert is faded and looks ugly as sin. I've tried finding it from a parts place but no luck yet. Seems like they all fade.

How have others addressed this issue?

Check it out, it's ugly!

You could paint it gloss black, along with the tail light frames.

Thanks, That's was I was afraid of. Someone esle told me you could keep it black by applying tire black every few weeks but that seems like a hassle.

You'd think that the Japanese, of all people, could make black plastic that would stay black.

yeah, just take it off and paint it a nice clean black. Get a good paint so it won't do that again too.
