Factory stone guard on turbo side skirts?

I'm repainting/restoring my 10AE at the same time as doing an s5 conversion, but I came at a crossroads when it comes to the turbo side skirts. If I could find some used ones I'll buy them (or some shine auto skirts), but until I find some at a comparable price to the reproduction ones, in any case I know from the factory, my FC came with an application of stone guard/gravel guard to the bottom of my rockers and fenders. Question is, when I get the car repainted, do I spray the side skirts too or leave them straight paint/clear? If I leave them, the finish would be kinda funky with the whole bottom of the door that ripply texture then smooth skirt, then ripply front fender. Any input would be greatly appreciated, also if you have pictures of your setup or you wanna sell me some t2 factory skirts or the shine auto ones, let me know. Cheers!

on a factory S5 T2, the side skirts are just painted, and then there is no stone guard on the doors.
the front and rear fenders have stone guard like normal
