I found out what these things were meant for....they are held on real tight just for this reason...to move ur car when the car wont start....also it will help u pull it up a slope and push down the slope hop in and jump start but then u find out that it wont jump start....

Is there a certain speed u have to go? is it harder to jump start with a dead battery then a semi dead battery?

just get a few people to push you to a good roll and dump it in second gear... should start. if not then you got problems
