factory leather wrapped steering wheel
Are the factory leather wrapped steering wheels, regular wheels that are wrapped?
If one were to cut the stitching and remove the leather wrap, would the underlying synthetic wheel be in "perfect" condition?

it is possible the 84-85 wheels are like that.
