How the hell do you change the bulbs in the factory fog lights??? I'm ready to dis-assemble my head light to access the back of this ****. Any experience on this.

 

I know you found the screw on the inboard side. There is a clip on the outboard side that you lift outward with a small flat screwdriver.

 

To change the bulbs: Pop up the headlights, pull the fuse if you'r worried about reaching under the headlight, twist the black ring on the back of the fog light assembly about 1/4 turn, pinch in and release the spring clip.

 

I couldn't find the right size bulbs, so I removed the hazy stock lights and put in some cheap generic running lights.

 

Is it easier to replace the bulb from the back rather than pulling the whole assembly out the front? Also, that clip on the outboard side is it accessable from the front or do get to it from the back?

I found the bulbs at Advanced Auto. They had stock GE bulbs I think 60 watt and they also had some 100 watt ones. I got the 100's we'll see if they fit.

 

They change out the back. I only took the fronts off to try to clean the lenses.
