factory boost gauge

i was wondering how accurate the factory boost gauge is. my math says that 400mmHg=7.73 psi. i know i shouldnt run much more boost without doing other mods, but i was just curious hoe accurate it was.

not very accurate. these gauges are getting to be 19+ years old and they loose accuracy over the years
