i have an s5 with n/a with a turbo swap, i never really thought about it but my fog lights never worked. i popped the top off the console, (the place with the security thing, and the fog switch) and there was a red light, a flashing one. I assumed from a factory alarm. When i close the door, the flashing red light turns off, it only flashes when the door is open, if someone can help me on what the light is, or how to see if i have an alarm or not it would be great, thanks.
btw, anyone have fog light trouble?

 

There is no flashing red light on the stock system. You have something aftermarket there.

 

The Canadian fog lights should work as daytime running lights when the switches are on & hand brake is down.
Maybe both bulbs are burned out?
