Anyone know how to disconnect Factory alarm on an 88 Turbo 2? If not the whole thing at least the hood? thanks

 

remove the glovebox, and look down, little silver box kinda towards the center console. Follow the harness back and unplug it

I got the wire color for the hood on a print out outside in garage, but the door is kinda froze shut drop me an email to remind me later

I had a problem just recently with my factory alarm. 88 SE. Like he said, reach up under the glovebox, or remove the six screws and the whole thing will be laying there in the open for you to examine. Follow the harness to the plug and yank it out. I haven't seen any repercussions from doing it yet, other than the alarm not working
