Clutch question

Have you checked both the master and release cylinders for the hydraulic system? I've had four RX7s and each one of them did that at one point or another. I have found the problem is usually a bad release cylinder (which is down by the bell housing for the transmission-driver side).

You should check both the master cylinder and the slave cylinder(release cylinder) and make sure they are working properly. If they are then maybe its time to pull the mission and check the clutch itself. This sounds like a slave cylinder to me.

The first time you try to push the clutch in it works but after pushing it all the fluid has seeped past the dying seals in the cylinder causing it not to work properly or the heat of the engine is causin the seals to fail.

Secondary injectors? what leads you to believe they are not working?
