Extreme Power Loss
2 days ago I decided to fix a small leak on my thermostat housing. Suceeded, but after doing so I sprung a leak around the secondary coolent cap. Fixed that also. Let my 2nd gen run for a little while to look for new leaks and to make sure the temperature remained normal (everything going smooth), shut it off. Went back about 30min. later to take it up town. And it has no power and horrible throttle response. Oil pressure is good and I am keeping water and finally staying cool. Timing and a tune-up has already been done.

It was running fine before (lots of power). And no, it never overheated and it was running fine after I fixed the leak. Could it possibly be my Cat? I know it isn't in the best shape.

How's the idle??
What do you mean "bad throttle response"? Slow?? or hesitant/misfiring??
If it idles OK, then you can rule out vacuum leaks and comptression.... sounds electrical to me.
Did you check for codes?? It might be in limp mode- probably from accidentaly disconnecting the AFM, or a fuel injector wire.....

TPS unplugged? Coolant all over the spark plug wires? Need more info...
BTW, don't mess with the cats unless you need to. That is like the universal solution #2 around here (#1 is the ATF trick)...

How do I go about finding the TPS? My Haynes manual does not mention a throttle positions sensor unless you are referring to the sensor for the metering oil pump. Also, before working on the cooling system, it was a little low on oil but I was quick to add more.......still hasn't used any.
