Hey guys & gals,

Buddy just dropped off an exhaust for me. It is a 4" exhaust. Meaning 4" piping from downpipe back. How bad/good would this be if I put it on my t2?

Thanks in advance.

Could care less about neighbors lol. Just worried if it is overkill and cause problems with stock s4 turbo with back pressure.

I'd sell it and get 3" for ground clearance. Scrapping exhaust or ripping it off over bumps sucks.

you're going to boost creep to a million psi and blow your engine

you need to port the crap out of your wastegate on the turbo before you even think about putting that on.

I guess I forgot about ground clearance. Yeah problem is the 3" exhaust I want is $500. So if I do end up selling it I would want to make a dent in that price.

Thanks for input!

Why do people like driver side exit? plumbing/piping wise it makes sense just to run it straight back.

I had the opposite experience, when I was building my exhaust drivers exit looked easier because the pipe was already angled that way coming into the tunnel, but I went passenger side for weight distribution reasons.

You can flip the midpipe to go out the passenger side of driver side. Same thing I did with my old corksport exhaust.
