hey folks! i just got a rx7 today! im soo excited! but when i was takin my friend home, i noticed some white smoke comin out the exhaust. my folks told me it was only when i shifted up and its just one medium sized puff of smoke. what does this mean and how do i fix it? thanks a lot!

 

how many miles? again sounds like oil control rings....sure it was white??

 

well im pretty sure...thats what my folks said it was when i asked them to watch...i hope its just the o rings. i also have an exhaust leak some where which i have yet to attend to. maybe the 2 together made the smoke appear whiter? i dunno. thanks for the help! if anyone else knows anything, please post!

 

oh yea its got a lot of miles. im not quite sure how long ago its had its engine rebuilt...thats gonna be the first thing i do once i get started on it. i gotta finish my scion xb first!
