exhaust sleeves on a t2?

Im debating in my head about what to do with my blown t2. Ive already got some part threads up, but a new idea sprang into my head.

The question: I'm sure that I can strip my s4 N/A down to the short block and then put my s5 t2 long block assy onto it, but will the exhaust sleeves be a problem with the turbo??? I think they would be, but I'm not sure. If so, is it possible to remove them without breaking down the short block?

The bigger problem is going to be bolting the TII lower intake to the 6 port engine.

Depending on the parts that you fragged when the engine blew will determine what needs to be done.

The S4 N/A should be good for a pair of housings. The rotors should also be good however depending on the boost/turbo that you plan to run, I would think twice about using N/A 9.4:1 rotors.

The exhaust sleeves from the Turbo rotor housings can be removed and put into the N/A housings. I would not use the N/A sleeves. The diffusers are there to cancel noise and tey impede flow. There are a few different ways to go about removal. Either way though, you need to remove the roll-pin to take the sleeves out.

Like Classic said, you cannot bolt up the Turbo LIM to the N/A block. If you do use the N/A housings, you also need to think about where you're going to get the coolant feed for the turbo

I realize that you already blew the idea out the window, but you cannot replace the sleeves without breaking down the short block. The roll pins are no the sides of the housings. At least I can't think of any way to remove the sleeves without breaking down the short block.
