exhaust sleeves

ok so I spent like 2 hrs grinding out the stupid difusers in the port. now the sleeve moves. it slides a bit from side to side.

will this be bad? and if so can i use titanium putty to smooth it all out and keep it in place? the putty is good for like a million degrees.

Hmm.. Does it expand and contract in heat differently than the housing material?

I think it would be too dangerous, especially so close to the rotors..

Putty in the exhaust port? I think not. It *might* survive the heat, but not the pounding of the exhaust pulses.

Remove the pins from the rotor housings that hold the exhaust sleeves in place. Then replace the pins with set screws. Use plenty of red Locktight. Cut the tops of the set screws off so they are flush with the rotor housings.

If you don't fix this, you're going to have one hell of an annoying buzz when you start the engine!
