Exhaust questions...please help ASAP!

Ok, here's my problem, I'm working on my custome catback right...but every muffler I seem to find is only 14" as my stock one is 19" not including tip. My ? is, will a 14" muffler be the right length if I'm using the RB Ypipe??? Also, anybody know where I can get a ypipe..other then an RB?? Thanks for any help, I hope to be ordering the rest of my exhaust peices tomorrow....

Yeah, I was thinking of using the RB y-pipe as a base as well, since Apex'i can't supply enough catbacks. I would think shorter mufflers would be OK, just make up the space w/ the flanges and pipe to them. I was thinking of a couple of N1 style cans on the RB y pipe at a slight tip up angle (to keep the flames off the ground, of course) I saw HKS offers titanium cans and others carbon fibre; may cost a bit but would keep the weight of a dual sytem down.

it doesn't mater how long the muffler is since no matter which one you get you will have to make pipe from the muffler to the y pipe
