Exhaust questions

I'm putting my exhaust back together, it was all stock, and I'm intending on putting on a RB header, new cat, and some aftermarket catback. I'm having some trouble and looking for advice.

How do you get the donut for the mufflers on the hangers?? I pulled em off by prying them with a screwdriver, but theres got to be an easier way. Can I unbolt the hangers? If so, from where?

Next question I think I already answered myself... I was under the impression that the RB header replaced the stock manifold + precats, and the presilencer directly replaced the cat. Well, it looks like the RB header is about 2 inches too short. After reading RB's website about the header carefully, it sounds like they intend for you to use it with their presilencer only. So I guess my assumptions were incorrect. Can someone confirm this? Is there some kind of extension or anything so that you can use the header with the stock cat?

ugh.. Those doughnuts are such a pain.. You have to muscle them on [has your car ever been hit in the back? It's much harder if that's the case, until I got my rear end straightened out a bit I had given up and just used zip ties]

Correct, the RB presilencer is [annoyingly] ~2" too long.. If you want to use the stock cat you'll need to make [or have an exhaust shop make] a little adaptor piece. I don't think anyone has a premade piece for sale..

There is this tool for those exhaust hangers, it has a t-handle and a hook on the end. Makes it really easy remove/attach those donuts
