Question exhaust question? little long sorry

ok first let me say that i'm getting a 100 amp arc welder and doing this all my self just need a little knowledge on the how to's!!

1) my rearend mount is messed up, let go of gas hit gas clunk clunk. rearend mount broken, so where do i weld a bar instead of buying a new mount. cause i heard that you can weld a bar and its alot better then the mount. cause i've noticed that everytime i'm driving smoothly and i have to down shift or change gears it makes the clunk and the car starts to struggle a little, like if the rearend gets stuck at a position and is making the car have to push more.

2)i have the dual outlet header because its the 6port mod one. thats the one they sent me so its all good. what i want to do is make a collector and make it into 1. but what i wanted to know is, when i put the header in will the exhaust be lined up or will i need to bend a pipe?

3) anyone know where i can get a cheap pipe bender something just to bend the exhaust pipes. or how i can bend the pipes myself without one. anything that'll work to bend the pipe.

4) the main pulley. anyone's bearing every slip even when they did have the clutch pushed in all the way. i have the pulley but i'm a little scared that the bearing might slip and i'm screwed. any sure way of putting it on..

oops forgot one
5) my sunroof hardly goes back. when i first got the car the sunroof did wanna go up all the way. so i was pushing it up one day and broke the right clamp. but when i press the button to move it back it moves real slow. so would that be the track needs some slickin up or the motor is going bad? what should i use to slick the tracks?

As far as the pipe bender is concerned I don't know of a manual type bender. All I've ever seen are the hydraulic crush type with different size die's to bend different diameter pipe. Mandrel pipe benders are expensive I've been told. That's why most exhaust shops have the crush type bender. I'm sure used ones are available but probably not cost effective unless you plan on doing exhaust work on the side to make some extra money. Good luck.

They do make "portable" pipe benders. I remember, vaguely, as a small child, my mother's boyfriend had one. He used it to make a roll cage for his jeep. But it took 3 of his friends as well as himself to use it. I beleive it was plug in. I hope this helps in your search!

as cheap as labor is at just about every exahust shop, I would let them do it. they have expereince and the tools and usually a waranty. if the only reason you want to do it your self is so that you can get rid of the cat, there are other options.
1 option is to buy a performance cat from Dynomax, $180 from summit. that is a lot cheaper than buying a pipe bender.
2nd option is to have your exahust put on at a shop. measure the distance between the flanges for the cat, go back to the shop and tell them that you need a pipe that is xx inches long with the two bolt flanges on it. if you use stock type flanges, the bolt centers are 4 inch.
