Exhaust question

I have a 1987 T2. The mufflers are shot. I have a stock NA exhaust laying around, and I was wondering, are the Y pipes and mufflers interchangable? One of the mufflers on the T2 was replaced, and when it was, whoever did it cut off the mounting flange, so if I'm going to change the pieces, I need to do the Y pipe as well.

Thanks in advance guys.

Y pipes are the same for all models, but the mufflers have increased or decreased internal baffling based on model.

Thanks Mark. I'm just doing this as a temp fix until I get the RB turbo-back for it.
