Exhaust mods

Alright the next thing im doing to my 88 turbo 2 is exhaust...i want to go full 3 inch but ive heard/read that the 5th and 6th ports open on exhasut back preasure, and with full 3 inch would i get enouf back preasure to open those ports?!?!?! or can i do some mods to make the ports stay open??? basically i wana know what mods i can do to get the best performance. thx

Turbo rx-7s do not have 6 ports they are 4 port motors so the 5th and 6th ports are not a problem. The problem you may encounter is lack or fuel or fuel cut. Make sure you have a Fuel cut defensor and adequate fuel for your modifications to keep your car running safely.

PS-Not tending to fuel mods and the rest can and probably will result in the death of your rotary.

i allready have a furl cut defenser. i was only planing on running 10 psi untill i can get more fuel mods. would that be safe on stock pump/injectors??? so ur sayin i can go full 3 inch and not worry about the ports??

You do not have those ports AT ALL! So therefore you do not need to worry about THAT. I beleive 10psi is around the area where the stock fuel system becomes inadequate. Be carefull and hurry up with those fuel mods.
