Dak, looks like yours has seen a bit of time on the car. I gotta ask, is the paint on it starting to flake, or is it just mine? My guess is it's the heat causing it.

I have heard that the RB pre-silencers do that after some time. Thank you for that picture

15 years and 147,000 miles. Mine wasn't painted just had a shiny chrome like finish which is now mostly gone and replaced with rust, some of which was flaking off. It is worse closer to the header and seem to follow a pattern of the worst rust being where there is the most heat. On the other hand the header is still in decent shape with the closer you get to the engine the better it looks. Maybe heat +water and the header stays drier.

No problem. Sorry it took so long. I had wanted to post one up when I first replied to the thread but didn't get to it till yesterday. I'd say though no longer pretty it should last a good 5 or more years.
