exhaust header

now knowing that the rotary engine produces a lot of heat i was wondering what kind of steel piping besides stainless would be adequate to make my own header. i have the required things needed to make the header but need to know what would be a good grade steel for the job. a lot cheaper than going out and buying one if i can just make one from scratch.
