Which exhaust hangers can I use to replace OEM?

I am making a single exit passenger side exhaust using all the OEM hangers. My problem is most of mine are strechy and shot dead. I was looking at Atkins but they are crazy! Atkins Rotary Specialties || Mazda Rotary Parts I know they are much cheaper on ebay but I was curious if anyone know which size to get as an oem replacement?

Thanks!!

I hate those stupid exhaust doughnuts. They let the whole system bang around under the car. It looks terrible to drivers right behind you as it always seems that with every bump, the exhaust is going to fall off.

Unless you triangulate every exhaust doughnut or have another one opposite of the first, the exhaust will always wiggle.

When I built the exhaust for my FC I changed all the hangers to the rubber strap type. Here's a few random pictures:

The disadvantage is that you'll need to modify the rear stock muffler mounts by adding tabs to which you can bolt the hangers. The rear mount on the frame rail can be used directly, as can the mount on the subframe, as both are just M8 captured nuts.

I also used these types of mounts on my '76 Cosmo. You can see the full fabrication of that exhaust in this video:

How bad is the noise transmission to the cabin with those solid mounts?

Solid exhaust mounts are idiotic on everything, even a full race car. Not only do they transmit loads of noise, but they don't allow the exhaust to naturally move around like it needs to. Due to drivetrain movement, chassis flex, and thermal expansion/contraction. It will end up cracking.

It doesn't take much effort to use some straps like I posted, or even the stupid stock doughnuts.

Thanks guys I got the ones off rockauto. Two donuts and I ordered 3 of the normal hangers. Donuts were good, smaller than the oem( My oem's were stretched out but not that much lol) so pulled my exhaust up a bit and firmed it up. Same with the other 3 hangers, its not so low and loose now. The only annoying thing, which has happened to me the other time i ordered from RA, was I got the 3 hangers, same part numbers but only one came with the metal inserts as pictured, made in canada, the other two made in India did not come with them. No worries though as I was able to remove them from the OEM hangers that still had them ( half were missing the inserts) and press them into the new hangers.

Thanks!

It was a few years ago, and I may sound stupid because I dont remember the part number, but I checked with autozone several years back. Basically, they showed me the doughnut hangers for my car and I selected the size just under that and installed them. It was not fun, nor easy but they where tight.

I actually used this and a LOT of elboy grease to get them on...Use it at work all the time.

Home depot has a similar too for much cheaper or even harbor freight.
