exhaust fumes

i have a 88 vert keep gettin exhaust fumes in side cant seem to find any leaks also my logicon is broken is there a door or anything that i can shut to keep the hot air from coming inside vents

there is a flap that can be shut so outside air cant come in.im not exactly sure where it is but i imagine its near the cetner of the car behind the dash. maybe near the heater core or blower motor. theres usually a cable u pull to close the flap. sorry im not anymore help.

check to see if the inner and outer boots are ripped or damaged at the shifter

my shifter boot is a little ripped that where it seems fumes are comin in at and i just replaced the gaskets around converter

yeah a lot of fumes can come in of the boots are ripped
