exhaust control valve, where to get 1?

anyone of u guys know where i can get an ECV (exhaust control valve) for my 88 GTU ??? one that i can control from the cockpit? i've been looking around and have only found them for hondas and integras and such other rice mobiles... but i think rotaries need them more, getting out of the car and having to put a silencer on is a ******* pain in the *** if u tell me, and u can't do it when ur being told to pull over by the cops cuz he wants to hear ur exhaust, i need it since i like the noise my car makes, but would like to avoid a ticket as much as possible

JIC make one that I think would be a lot more suiting for this application. heres a link.

Its outrageously expensive though. I am making one myself out of a 3" slipfit coupling, and will be using a tandem bycycle cable to control it. Ill run it into the center armrest area. I too hate having to put a silencer in the muffler. I dont have any boost creep probs but if I did I bet this would be a good way(aside from porting/a better wastegate) to have an adjustable control over creep. I wonder how much damage they do to flow when full open, also where in the exhaust path would be the best spot for it.

my god, that's crazy. i'm talking cutout. JIC is twice the price as what i listed. and appears to suck *** as it blocks the only exhaust pipe you have. with a cutout, you keep the stock/quiet mufflers and bypass them when you want more power.

oh you said exhaust control valve not cut out-2 different things.

with cutouts you have to listen to an open exhaust which pretty much sounds like ****. It doesnt reall matter because at full open they both offer the same restriction of the butterfly valve.
