My car is running very rich. I have the RB 3" turbo back exhaust. When I put the BOV on it it ran more rich. It seems to have some sort of gas or exhaust leak. I believe there are new gaskets, at least the gasket connecting the turbo to the downpipe. The smell is strongest in the cabin and under the car, but not under the hood. Im not sure what to do. Please help, any input or ideas. The smell is very strong and it burns my eyes. Thanks.

UHm...go to the inside of the car, and pull the hood latch. Go outside, raise the hood, and insert the prop rod. Now, see that big silver thingy on top of the motor? See what it says in big red letters?

That, my friend, is your problem.

Seriously, rotaries don't burn very clean, idle very well, or get very good gas mileage. IT"s just the nature of the beast. Like I enjoy telling so many people, it isn't a toyota camry, it is a rotary sportscar.

The fact that you have removed all your cats could have something to do with the sudden increase, though...

Go easy on her..she's my friend...LIke I told you earlier. Check for exaust leaks from manifold to the presilencer. I would do it but im busy.. Gaskets do go bad.. It worries me when you said that you smell fuel too or maybe you are just confuse between the 2. But when i rode in your car i did smell exaust fumes.. I have the same problem except 3 times worst..Good luck! JEFF

Testbed..ohh how nice.. I know this shop that works on high performance Mustangs and he has that testbed and its awesome when he test those engines.. Loud as hell and flames everywhere...

well i have a 3rd gen so this info might not be helpful but did you try to tighten the bolts that connects the cat back to the midpipe or any other connections?

that was the problem on my car but i am not sure on yours...
