ok, i have a 88 SE n/a

i replaced the catalytic converter with a silencer, and the mufflers with high flow greddy ones, however i did leave the precat and small converter in place, and just removed the one large converter, will my 5th and 6th ports open?? or should they?? also how do u "free up" or oil your 5th and 6th ports so they will function to the best of there abilities once they are openign and closing.
