exhaust
I have a t2 motor and want to get new exhaust for it. My choices are a 3in down pipe then to a 2½in strait pipe. Or I could go all 2½ down pipe and all. Or I could go all 3in. but all 3in is a lot of money. My friend has some exhausts that would save me some money if I went with a 2½ strait pipes but I would still get a 3in down pipe. Any thoughts. I do plan on doing much more to the car if that has any reference.

What mods do you have to support a full exhaust? I am not sure if a full 2 1/2 inch exhaust will cause you to hit fuel cut but it may. Please don't do anything yet untill you get someone's advice on what kind of fuel and FCD mods you should be looking at to accompany the exhaust.

Make sure u get the N1 duals catback. I just installed them today on my T2, and it sounds freaken awesome. Its a littlle loud at first, but u will get used to it. I just have gutted cats and stock dp, i really dont know how loud it will be if u get a 3" dp, but i'm gonna try it. They also look pretty good in my opinion. Good luck...

I got a 3" dp and mp that is 1 piece from Thunder Fabricatoins for under $200. It has the o2 sensor bung and there customer service was ver good. And I also received it within 1 week of ordering.
On their site it says that at the end of the pipe, there is a smaller flange to fit the stock cat back, but I asked and they kept it a full 3" all the way and included a 3" flange seperate. I highly recomend them.
