exhausst question

I tried to find the answer by searching but didn't come up with anything... I just bought a 86 and I know that there is some stuff rattling around in the muffler (inside of the cat?) but the real question is that there isn't as much exhaust coming from that one (passenger side) . Why? Also on a totally different subject... I have the 2+2 seats!! Cool huh? I thought so.... But im not sure what model it is? There aren't any markings.... Thanks in advance..

Well, if you have something bouncing around in the exhaust, you should try and get rid of it as it is probably restricting flow. The whatever object (if it's inside your cat, you probably just blew up the insides), you should remove.
2+2 seats... well, take a look at your wheels, if they're stock. Match them up to the ones designated in the FAQ as it has pictures. If you have a a TMIC, you obviously have a TII. If you are lost, look in the FAQ anyway as it has a full list of details...

Well it defiantly isn't a TII. Yes the wheels are stock 4 bolt. With the circles rims... The car runs great im just worried about the exhaust...

The only thing I can say is remove your exhaust and inspect it. Most likely it'll be like any other old exhaust and be rusty so take necessary precautions. Replace as need. You have a base model RX-7 btw.

Pull it off. Inspect. Replace as needed.
