Thumbs up Warning light blocked view for LHD, but not RHD

This has to be the best alternative I've seen yet for mounting aftermarket guages and have the pod not look patched on such as the A-Pillar stick on type. I'm curious how it mounts securely to the dash? Double stick tape?

I gather this design was originally meant for RHD cars since on RHD this design doesn't cause the warning light view blockage issue. This being the case, any plans on making a mirror version of this design to deal with the warning light view blockage on LHD?

It would indeed be helpful to see a drivers view picture with one installed to see the extent of the view blockage. COXXOC, can you help out here?

Alternatively, any plans to make a complete A pillar replacement with duo or tri pods for LHD? THAT would be a big seller based on the gagillion posts one can find in the archives of this forum for that. Especially if you sold a companion non-pod replacement for the passenger side so the cosmetics would be uniform. They do exist for FB's (at least 84-85) and FD's. Don't even care if it's carbon fibre of fiberglass so long as they mount stock like. The only problem would be that the A-pillar cover is somewhat different on Verts vs. Coups.

It DOES block the idiot lights, but its cool. You have aftermarket gauges to watch what is really important anyway, right? Plus you get the buzzer if your oil or coolent is low. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow or wednesday. The car I bought it for isn't running right now. I need to wire up the engine still. I do think this is made for a RHD car though. Speedmachine's carbon version has the pods on the left side if you want them there.

I'd be all over this if the guages were on the left side....I almost bought the SMP one because they're on the left side, but that unit is too big....PLEASE someone make one like this with the guages on the left side.
