How are the tabs attached to the bottom of the cover?

You're still going to have to cut the back of the headlight bracket to get any kind of useful airflow into the engine bay.

Good looking piece though!

there is no way to get much air in without modifying the headlight housing, anyone who sais otherwise is a liar. it doesn't take much work to cut the housing though to allow for more airflow, just a little bit of experience knowing where to cut or the housing may be useless afterwards.

This may seem like a dumb question.. but why are companies only making these for the passenger side? I'll guess that there's something in the way on the drivers side for decent air flow... but i just think it looks screwed up having it on only one side... drives me insane...

The air intake or TID sits on the passenger side.

yeah, a driver's side vent would be mostly for looks , but could be made to keep your battery nice and cool....
I guess it could help to keep the engine bay a bit cooler, maybe some vented fenders too...

Battery in stock location already has a vent from the front of the car that keeps it plenty cool.

Yea I vouch for that! I made my own headlight cover. I had to cut the headlight housing because of the size of the inlet.

When I put on this( as shown in the photo) I don't have to do any mod on the car. Just remove 4 screws remove OEM cover and put this vented cover on. I guess this car is beeb strip to convert from RHD to LHD. So many parts are not on as now. BTW ANyone wants JDM RHD FC parts, let me know. We're striping it down.

It ends up being about half & half. Some of the air hits the back of the headlight bracket and is blocked, and half actually ends up under the bracket and goes into the engine bay.

All headlight ducts are more or less the same.
