Error Code 42 Duty Solenoid Valve

Ive got a code for the Duty Solenoid Valve, or wastegate control. Why am I experiencing this?

test the solenoid and the circuit, also maybe the connector on the solenoid just came loose.

Yea I realized that its part of the emissions removal and its not there anymore haha

Actually it's not part of the emissions removal, since its nothing to do with emissions...

Controls the turbo on a series five, I think. Don't own one myself.

Controls boost level. No solenoid = less boost = less power.
