equipment that can go? (s5 n/a)

Ive seen many threads on what you can take out of the engine bay (engine block..not things like A/C and PS), but they're mostly geared towards TII's. on a S5 NA, what exactly can i take out and block off without causing issues with the VDI and actuators?

Is it basically the same except i have to leave on the air pump and VDI? like..can i put the generic block-off plates on like the EGR..etc.

I dont know what to search for exactly to get this info for a s5 NA..but im sure its been asked before

You need 6psi air for the 6-ports & VDI. I'm looking for a small electric pump so I can loose the stock pump. My ACV is off, so I have a temporary rig on the stock pump to keep things working..

Actually it's 1.4psi and 2.8psi respectively.

Dave, other than the emissions equipment (which is all the same as the Turbos), there's not much else that can go. There's no EGR on the S5, and what's left after emissions removal is for the 6PI and VDI systems.
The best thing to do is study the FSM to work out what everything does and whether you need it.
