Engines

What is the difference between the 13B-REW found in the third gen and the 13B-RE found in the cosmo? Which is more reliable? On FC3S the cosmo engine is much cheaper. Just wondering what makes them different , my first guess would be performance.

differeces

whats up. the differences are: lower intake/upper intakes, twin turbos are different, internal ports are bigger than FD engines. Same compression ratio. Reliability is just up to the tuning.
later,
Bryan

Actually, the engine ports are the same size, but the runners are bigger in the RE engine. Other than that, the internals are identical. Intake manifolds are different, not sure about the turbos.
