Unhappy Engine won't turn over...

So I jump into my car depress the clutch turn ignition and engine won't turn over. No clicking sound, battery has a charge and all the instrument panel lights come on. She was running fine all day. Any suggestions...

So I gave it another shot this morning after letting her sit overnight. Checked main fuses nothings blown. Car fired up first crank, let it warm up then went for a rip around the block, runs great!!! parked car shut her down. Then tried to start it again, nothing won't turn over

Check the connectors on the starter. Disconnect the battery first, take the leads off the starter and clean them with sandpaper, and then reconnect them. Also, while the terminals are off the battery, clean them and the posts as well. It should clear your problem up.

I have had this problem as well and it turned out to be connections within the starter. I don't think the RX-7 starter unit is made to survive a somewhat lengthy 20 years of turning... It's not a Honda. I say get a new starter unit while you're at it...
