engine wont start

Here's the story. I have a 90' TII that ran fine before I let it sit for 4 days while I went out to vacation. When I came back the car started, but it had a very low idle and when trying to rev the engine it wouldn't go past 4k. Also when reving the engine it would rev and die constantly to 4k, if that made any sense. So I did a basic tuneup to see if I could remedy this; replacing oil/air filters, oil/intercooler fluids, and spark plugs. Now when I finished installing everything, I went to go turn on the car and as soon as I turned on all the electricals a funny buzzing sound was coming from the spark plug area. I then went ahead to double check all the connections. Tried it again but it still had the buzzing noise and when I went ahead to try and start the car. It turns over but doesn't fire the engine. Tomorrow I'm going to go purchase a new set of spark plug wires to see if that works, but I wanted a little more input from you guys. Thanks alot.

cranks but doesn't fire? hmm
As for the idle problem and the no rev past 4k, check your tps, voltage drop at the signal wire, 2 minutes and you can make sure it's not that.
As for the no start, the buzzing sounds like it could have been the starter but than you said it cranked, so that's not it. Did you check and make sure battery voltage is at 12.6 volts?
Sitting like that, maybe you have a parasitic draw........let us know what you find.

The buzz is the BAc opening and closing.

The no rev above 4000 sounds like the LIMP MODE caused by a failed electrical omp.

Look at the fault codes given out by the ECU and see if that is/is not the case,

hmm.. The car started this morning before I began to do anything to it, which kind of puzzled me, but now when I did a test drive the turbo didn't spool. Anyone have any ideas?
