engine weirdness.....

I posted an oil ring thread but no one responded. Sometimes the car at high RPM burns oil. Today i held the revs at 4000 up to 5000 for just about 30 secs and no oil what so ever came out of the tail pipes

any idea???

Your oil may have lost some of it's effectiveness due to moisture in the engine. When you ran the engine at those revs you probably burned out the moisture, hence no more smoke.

I hope that makes sense!

Moisture caused by condensation not seals.

More often?

Is it possible for this to occur on a weekly basis... cause this winter was really cold and snowy... and it would do that like once a week... but there is no problems at all now that it's getting warm again
