What options do I have as far as upgrading these to a little stiffer then stock?

I know how to change the cross member mounts on the transmission, but how difficult are the front ones to do, is it required that the engine be lifted from the car?

How much is this stuff on average to purchase, and if i wanted to go with stock is it ok to buy the mounts from pep boys or Advance auto parts?

(Keep in mind i'm pretty good with taking my rx7 apart and putting it back together, i've done the clutch, new trans, total removal of ac/ps and a complete interior swap so i think i can handle it, just trying to get an idea of how long it would take).

 

Replaced my engine and transmission mounts with Mazda Competition mounts. It wasnt too difficult (had the engine out) but as for the transmission, id also recommend replacing the "y saddle" the two smaller mounts rest on.

 

Where did you get the comp mounts and how much did they run ya?
