Question engine tools

i just got an 89 rx7 with a 13b. the apex seals are bad and i was wondering were i can find a site or someone who has the engine tools for sale. thx.

What tools are you looking for? Ive torn down a few with nothing more than a (somewhat) basic tool set. A good set of sockets, breaker bar, wrenches, and misc. things like picks and punches. Of course air tools are nice, but not necessarily needed. Maybe to get the main pulley and flywheel off.

thats cool. i was just reading the forums and some people said that there were special tools you would need. i have all of what you said. is that all i would need to rebuild my engine. thx

Depends on what you consider a "special" tool.

The 54MM flywheel socket might be special to some people.

Calipers, feeler gauges and micrometers might also be special.

i guess i will have to start rebuilding and figure out what i need. i have everthing but flywheel socket so i should be good. thx for you help.
