Mazda OEM radiator cap
Mazda OEM closure cap
New deep cycle AGM battery
Mazda OEM Fuel filter
NGK O2 sensor
Finish re-installing cruise control
Re-do all the grounds
Grease sunroof motor
New mufflers
Custom intake
S5 intake setup or port my stock manifolds
Send fuel injectors out to get cleaned
Finish depowering the PS rack

I was able to get a few more things done on the car recently, and am still working through the rest. I still haven't been able to find my picture for the CC bracket, so if anyone has some better pictures I'd really appreciate it.

Just ordered my OEM pressure cap and closure cap, and hopefully will order the fuel filter and O2 sensor here soon also. I've decided to hold off on the battery for a bit yet until I can save up some more money for it. Right now I've got a Motorcraft battery from my girlfriend's Mustang that's 800 CCA that works great for now until I purchase my AGM deep cycle battery. I have all the write ups printed off to re-do the grounds, but just need to figure out how much wire I'm going to need now. I still can't find a good picture for the CC setup, and there are no RX-7's around here to look at to figure things out. The sunroof motor will get greased eventually, but I don't have the time to tear out the interior pieces at the momment, and the same goes for finishing depowering the PS rack. New mufflers are my last thing on the list because I've got my stock ones on now and am happy with how they sound. I just would like something that flows a little better. I'm still working on an air cleaner and intake setup at the momment, and am leaning towards the S5 intake swap because it is cheap and worth it. While I am doing that swap, I could have the injectors cleaned out. I guess that's all I have to add for now.

Got my caps in today and put them on. I love them much better than the Stant ones. I also ordered my fuel filter and O2 sensor also. Hopefully I'll be able to get around to some of the stuff before fall hits.

After doing some more reading, I wanted to see if anyone had done any custom modifications or had any other mods to their cooling system besides what I've got done:

Mazda OEM thermostat
Mazda OEM thermostat gasket
Mazdatrix water pump
Mazdatrix water pump gasket
Mazdatrix water pump housing gasket
Prestone Extended Life coolant/antifreeze (50%/50% mixture)
Distilled water
Prestone Super Radiator Flush
Permatex Indian Head gasket shellac compound
Mazdatrix closure cap
Mazdatrix radiator cap
Prestone Flush 'N Fill Kit

Originally I was running the Stant caps and had problems with them so I switch to the Mazdatrix ones. Also, I was running a 70% water/30% coolant/Water Wetter mixture, but had problems with it freezing last winter so I went with a 50%/50% mixture of water and antifreeze since it gets down to -20 degrees in Iowa during the winter.

Now, I know for a fact that other things I can get are a Corksport radiator panel, Samco hose kit, and an upgraded radiator. The Samco hose kit is just supposed to be an OEM replacement if your hoses are bad, which mine aren't, so that's an un-needed mod. As far as I know the Corksport radiator panel is supposed to help improve airflow through the radiator, and I don't have the stock panels there anymore since they were cracked and broken. An upgraded radiator really isn't in my budget right now since they cost 400+ dollars for one that's better than stock. Also, I know of the electric fan swap, and that's still a possibilty, but I really don't have the time to tear out my radiator and modify it to work with the eletric fan.

Any other cooling system mods I could be missing?

Well, after looking around, it looks like the Samco hose kit is just an OEM replacement, so that's not needed. I think I will order the Corksport radiator panel since I'm missing the stock panels and it's supposed to help improve airflow through the radiator. Upgraded radiator is definitely out of the question now too since I did some more looking and can't find one for under 400 dollars that's better than stock. I want to do the e-fan swap still, and have been looking around at different ones to use. Still not sure if I want to use the Fiero, Taurus, or Pontiac fan, or if there's any aftermarket ones to use. Any idea which one will push the most air?
