whenever i start the car the engine spits alot and then idles fine. Whenever i rev it up a little it also spits when the rpms are going down.

 

will someone help me out. I need some pointers.

TPS
spark plugs
plug wires
VAC leaks
Fuel filter
air filter

dirty injectors

Likely cause is mis timed engin if evrying ^ is in good order. Not sure if you are just getting a lumpy idle or misfiering or what, not very clear.

 

Thanx, I'll try that stuff. I dont think its misfiring just a lil lumpy as you call it.

 

my ride is doing the same thing,
However i am running straight cat nothing behind it(and i think the cat is clogged) I know i need new wires. but everything else is fine that i can think of.
I was told by someone that I proly need to clean a sensor of some sort. but i can not find the thread & don't remember which sensor it was!

 

I am tring to find out how and /what the tps is and how to do the maintenence
on it.
