Engine start problem HELP!

So ive got an 87 TII, i put the racing beat turbo back exhaust on and the fuel cut. now the ground on the muffler wouldnt come off becuase bolt rusted so i just cut it. everything works good, until i shut it off. after about 10 minutes of not starting right away , i will go to start again and nothing happens. motor cranks fine and it smells like im getting fuel, but no start. at first crank it sounds like it kinda wants to go but doesnt.changed all plugs and fresh oil. ANY IDEAS

Let me try to understnad what you are saying...

The car starts fine in the morning and it drives fine... You turn the engine off... 10 minutes later you try to start it and it doesn't start.

next time try holding the gas pedal to the floor and crank it until it starts.

You have one of two problems... A hot start problem where the FPR isnt bleeding the vapr locked fuel out of the fuel rail... or you have leaky injectors and the engine is flooding out the parkplugs

Big exhaust + no fuel upgrades = blown motor
