my question is: if i want to build the engine to 400rwhp would a rebuild at this high milage be the right choice or do i need to get a new engine? i want to keep my s4 engine if i can...

thx for the help

well either way you have to pull it.

It would be only an extra afternoon to tear it down and determine if the main parts are still in spec.

Then get all new seals and build it how you like.

You have to remove and re-install anyway and you have to build one anyway.

I would see if yours has the life left in it for the build your considering.

Now...

how in the WORLD are you going to get 400 RWHP?!

Well you can get 400RWHP with a Turbo upgrade from RX7.com I would also get at least a street port with the rebuild
