engine resotrer?
has anyone heard/used engine resotrer on a rotary engine? does it work even on normal engines? has anyone tried it and if so what were the results? thanx.
remember this. those "engine restorers" have elements that attatch/bond to metal sufaces through the oil. oil get shot into the combustion chamber with our wankels. a piston motor shouldnt see any oil in the combustion chamber.
does that make any sense?

The "RESTORE" brand is not formulated for engines that inject oil into the combustion chamber, so I don't think it's a good idea to use it in a rotary engine.
In general, these types of products don't help much. However, Casite "Motor Honey" does a good job of reducing the amount of oil blowing out of an old rotary engine that needs a rebuild. Most importantly, Miss Motor Honey is hot (see Desiree Diaz). Also, I had good results with Microlon (FAA approved) on a new 13B, but I'm not sure if it is worth the money, and they don't have any good-looking models.
