engine resotrer?
has anyone heard/used engine resotrer on a rotary engine? does it work even on normal engines? has anyone tried it and if so what were the results? thanx.

remember this. those "engine restorers" have elements that attatch/bond to metal sufaces through the oil. oil get shot into the combustion chamber with our wankels. a piston motor shouldnt see any oil in the combustion chamber.

The "RESTORE" brand is not formulated for engines that inject oil into the combustion chamber, so I don't think it's a good idea to use it in a rotary engine.
In general, these types of products don't help much. However, Casite "Motor Honey" does a good job of reducing the amount of oil blowing out of an old rotary engine that needs a rebuild. Most importantly, Miss Motor Honey is hot (see Desiree Diaz). Also, I had good results with Microlon (FAA approved) on a new 13B, but I'm not sure if it is worth the money, and they don't have any good-looking models.
