well i cant show the pic of the engine for some reason. it keeps on telling me PROXY error

this is the question i am asking but without a pic you cant really tell me.. but ill still ask and ill keep trying to get the pic in

Can someone tell me what year my engine here is?? i know its a Turbo II and that its an FC. but im not exactly sure if it really is an 1989 or 90.. i bought it not too long ago. im doing a custom job and sticking it in my 1989 BMW 325i. o and could someone help me find parts... i need an ECU, Engine harness, and alot of hoses for it..

Try getting the chassis number and asking your local mazda dealer to run it through there computer. Not sure if this will work but is worth a shot.

 

Does it have a plastic or metal thermostat cover.

Metal= 87-88 s4

plastic= 89-91 s5

89-91 engines are all the same.

 

another thing is the fan, if it's an s4 it has 8 blades, if it's an s5 it has 10, another thing is the oil metering pump.
