engine progress

Well. We got the new engine in, and we took out all that silly emissions crap.. blocked off all the oil injection. ran a new fuel line to the fuel filter, going to run a new line to the tank tomorrow. there is so many plugs that dont go anywhere now.. kinda confusing where every wire goes.. I will post up some pictures of the swap and everything.. This is one of the harder swaps i've ever done.. there is WAY too many things that are not connected.... really confusing...

Well comments/suggestions appreciated.

Just take your time and use the shop manual. Again, this is why I stress to everybody to label everything as you take it apart, especially if you're still a bit new to things. Makes life a LOT easier when you put it all back together! Or, for figuring out what you need and what you don't!

LOL now you tell me!!! DOH!!! Only thing im really stressing about is those vacume lines.. there should be too many vac lines.. but I just have to find out where to run them, and were all the vac lines go.

If you've pulled alot of emmisions stuff and the oil injection system you will bu plugging alot of un-used vacumme nipples!

yeah, there all gone.... good bye... :-) Im going to be running two stroke... might be alittle harder... but worth it.

Once you remove all the emissions bullshit your not left with many vac lines, boost sensor, wastegate, FPR, oil injection, I think that's it, and not running the OMP gets rid of another.

Does anyone have any pictures of the intake manafold after they've done this? there is a few things that i've done that I dont think anyone else has done... but seems effective. I've tried to look at the book about the vac lines.. and It doesnt really show anything really helping.
