Out driving yesterday, and went into a store came out 5 min later and went to start the car. It would wind up then die right away. It did this a few times i eventually had to give it alittle gas to get it started. It runs fine and idles fine. I was told it could be leaky fuel injectors. I went to start it today cold, (i have a fuel pump switch, so when i start cold i have to turn it on, and when hot i keep it off till it starts then turn it on) and lately ive had to keep the switch in the off position when cold and it starts up, or sometimes will die. Well today it seemed like it was flooded, cause it started up then died the first time, then wouldnyt start at all. So a friend of mine looked at it and noticed my boost gauge was at 11psi when i was idling. Anyone know if its leaky fuel injectors or do i have low compression. Im going to get a compression gauge from sears and check it, cause mazda wants 85 bucks to check it! Someone please help!

 

positive 11psi? or negative 11psi? vacuum or boost? That'd help us answer some questions. Where does it idle? 750rpm?

 

its at 7500 like it should and is vaccum at 11. My boost is stock boost at the moment.
